CyRide

CyRide is a public transit agency serving Ames, Iowa. It is a collaboration between the City of Ames, Iowa State University (ISU), and ISUs Student Government. We have around 150 full-time and part-time drivers who operate our fleet of 89 buses on 11 fixed routes, 3 circulator routes, and Moonlight Express at nearly all hours of the day. Drivers receive a starting pay rate of $16.96 per hour with paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, health, dental, and life insurance, retirement plan, a $1,000 sign-on bonus, and many other benefits available. CyRide is consistently rated by Ames citizens as one of the Citys top services thanks to our dedication to excellence.
