Global Change Research Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences (GCRI) - CzechGlobe is a public research institution, European center of excellence investigating the ongoing global change and its impact on the atmosphere, biosphere and human society through the use of the latest techniques and instrumentation. The research is aimed primarily at the dynamics of movement of greenhouse gases in the boundary layer of the atmosphere, the nature and dynamics of the ecosystems carbon cycle, GC effect on controlled ecosystems, climate prediction on a regional scale and evaluation of the social impacts of GC including the prediction of risk management.
