CzechToll built a satellite toll system in the Czech Republic together with the Slovak company SkyToll, and it was transferred into the ownership of the Czech Republic and began full operation on 1 December 2019. Thanks to the cutting-edge technology and the experience of both companies, the Czech Republic acquired a cutting-edge satellite toll system that allows for better traffic management and more efficient transport infrastructure management at a lower cost than in the past. The cost of the new CzechToll system is three times lower than the operating cost of the outdated microwave technology from 2006.
