The International Dark-Sky Association (DarkSky) is the recognized worldwide authority combating light pollution. Our mission is to restore the nighttime environment and protect communities and wildlife from the harmful effects of light pollution through outreach, advocacy, and conservation. Thanks to more than 193,000 supporters, members, and advocates in more than 70 countries, we provide leadership, tools, and resources for individuals, policymakers, and industry, to reduce light pollution and promote responsible outdoor lighting that is beautiful, healthy, and functional.
