Since its creation in 1982, Daro Film Distribution has grown to become one of Europes leading independent television distribution companies. Founded by Pierre-Andre and Monique Rochat in 1982, Daro Film Distribution now represents more than 100 production companies from around the world and has a catalogue ranging from blockbuster theatrical films and action series, to TV movies, cartoons and documentaries. As Daro Film Distribution has grown, so has the scope of its distribution activities. Initially working mainly as a sales agent, the focus of the business shifted and became much more centred on all facets of the production and distribution process - development finance, co-production and deficit financing as well as pre and post production sales.
