DASKALIDES, A TASTE OF HISTORY Daskalides is characterized by a family tradition in the production of quality affordable chocolate products. After the Greek family Daskalides-Kestekides established in Ghent in 1923, Daskalides produced and sold craft-made pralines. Later, his son, Jean Daskalides, would take over the lead and conquer the international market. Daskalides, led by Alexandre, son of Jean, was awarded in France with the prestigious Laurier dOr de la Qualite because of the exceptional chocolate quality, the beautiful shape and the excellent taste.
