Dawakhana Tibbiya College (DTC) was founded on a very modest budget in 1954 under the hegemony of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh as the subsidiary of Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College Hospital, with the prime, precise and concise goal of uplifting and continuing the art of Unani System of Medicines in India. Providing quality and guaranteed effective Unani medicines, which at that time were steadily declining was the primary motive of establishing a manufacturing unit of Dawakhana Tibbiya College (DTC) at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh. It began with a meagre financial help, eventually thriving and evolving into a fully-fledged business organization. These were the theories, the opinions and the futuristic vision of Lt.
