DC Green Bank

We are an independent instrumentality of the District of Columbia, created by the Green Finance Authority Establishment Act of 2018, with the clear goal of accelerating a clean energy transition for DC. DC Green Bank deploys public dollars in order to mobilize private investment to deploy solar and renewable energy, increase the efficiency of buildings and systems, deliver stormwater management and green infrastructure projects, and green our transportation systems. We provide financing for every stage of projects - pre-development, construction, and permanent - to ensure that we create pathways for a more sustainable future for all. We are a catalyst for a more equitable green transition where all DC residents are recipients of the benefits of a cleaner and vibrant city.
