De La Salle Academy is a private, non-sectarian school for academically talented, economically less advantaged boys and girls in grades six through eight. Located in Midtown, New York City, we serve a diverse community of students and faculty. Our admissions policy is need-blind; each year we have to raise over 90% of the schools annual budget from sources other than tuition. Our mission is to provide a quality education for students from low-income families, develop the leaders of today and of tomorrow, and instill in them the importance of serving their community
