Established in 1982, Delaware Hospice is the largest and only licensed, nonprofit, community-based hospice serving Delaware and southern counties of PA. Delaware Hospice is licensed by the state of Delaware and is Medicare and Medicaid certified, and holds accreditation with the Joint Commission, ensuring that Delaware Hospices care meets the Joint Commissions rigorous standards of quality. Delaware Hospice is committed to being the leader in providing high quality hospice and palliative care to individuals with a limited life expectancy, their families and caregivers, and to serve as a community resource for end of life care. Delaware Hospices professional, multi-disciplinary team meets the patient & familys physical, emotional, practical and spiritual needs, with an emphasis on symptom management.
