Dells Maraschino Cherries was founded by Arthur Mondella, Sr. and his son Ralph Mondella in 1948 in a small 1,500 square foot store front in Brooklyn, New York. Today, still family owned and operated, Dells Maraschino Cherries grew and expanded under the leadership of Ralphs son, Arthur Mondella. Under Arthurs direction, Dells Maraschino Cherries become one of the largest processors of maraschino cherries in the country. Building upon Arthurs success, Dells Maraschino Cherries is now a Women Owned Business under the leadership of his daughters Dominique Mondella and Dana Mondella Bentz.
