About Us Demelza is a charity providing hospice care for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their families across East Sussex, Kent and South East London. There are currently over 800 children and families across East Sussex, Kent and South London who access our services; but we know there are estimated to be at least 1,000 more throughout our catchment area who could benefit from using our services. We have increased the number of families we reach by 17% in the past year but would like to extend our services even further. In the last year 80% of the money raised was spent on providing direct care for the children and families. The other 20% was spent on fundraising, volunteers and administration. That is 80p in every 1 spent directly on caring for children and their families. The Demelza shop helps us raise much needed funds to be able to continue providing this service.
