Denver Young Artists Orchestra

The Denver Young Artists Orchestra Association consists of five orchestras: DYAO, two Conservatory Orchestras, and two String Ensembles. The ensembles are composed of approximately 250 musicians representing 90 schools from across the Front Range region. Some students come from as far as Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, and the mountain communities. Competitive auditions are held each spring and musicians between the ages of 8 and 23 are eligible. Repertoire for the ensembles includes full orchestral and symphonic works in their original form
