Department of Food Science and Technology MRSPTU Bathinda

The Department of Food Science & Technology at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda was established in 2018. The Department started with a vision to be a center of excellence in Food Science and Technology through academics, research, and outreach services to provide skilled human resources to meet the needs of food industries and society. Currently, the department is running B.Sc. (Food Science & Technology) (3 years)/ B.F.S.T. (Hons.) (4 years Degree course), M.Sc. and Ph.D courses. The program focuses on inculcating skills in the students required to excel in the professional arena. The curriculum also includes industrial training for 2 months during M.Sc. and B.Sc. programs.
