Psychology is the scientific study of all aspects of human behavior. Psychologists are interested in better understanding sensation, perception, cognition, emotion, personality, human development &abnormal behavior. The undergraduate program balances theory & application to provide students with the basic knowledge &research methods required in the study of psychology, & a strong foundation for public service & further studies in psychology & other disciplines. The cross-cultural orientation of the Departments teaching & research provides students with an international perspective for their future career development in a global setting. Psychology is closely related to other subject areas that involve the study of human behaviour, & students who are familiar with psychology will find it easy to pick up these other subject areas.
