About Us

Desai Sethi School of Entrepreneurship located in IIT Bombay trains aspiring entrepreneurs through courses and structured mentoring programs, and fosters the local eco-system. The team comprises Institute faculty, adjunct faculty, officers and mentors. The entrepreneurship courses and labs are open to under-graduate as well as post-graduate (Masters and PhD) students of the Institute. Students can bring their ideas alive by fabricating the proof-of-concept and prototypes in the POC lab. They also have access other such labs of the Institute, such as Tinkering Lab and BETIC. The courses are complemented by experiential learning in various aspects of product innovation and business lifecycle through structured mentoring programs. These include IDEAS (Innovation, Development and Entrepreneurship with Alumni Support), WiE (Women in Entrepreneurship), I-NCUBATE and others, which are supported by partner organizations.
