Destiny Shapers Foundation

Destiny Shapers Foundation was started in 2014 with the vision of impacting the Korogocho Community, a fast growing slum in Nairobi, Kenya. The Community based organization as of then started with recruiting 23 children who had got to the age to go to school but had not yet been enrolled. The criterion for recruitment was and has been the most vulnerable children in the society. These include orphans, children whose parent (s) has been imprisoned, children who have faced gender based violence including sexual abuse, others come from poor families that cannot be able to foot school fees for them. The Organization grew up to 280 pupils enrolled in the education center as of January 2023 with 20 members of staff working full time and on site.
