Dinges Fire Company

Dinges Fire Company (formerly E & B Fire and Safety, Inc.) was founded in 2001 by Jeff Bryant, Sr. (current Chief Operating Officer), Lonny Eisenberg, Lane Eisenberg, and Shauna Dinges. Jeff and Lonny were firefighters with a dream of providing a service to local fire departments in northern Illinois. Six months after E & Bs inception, Nick Dinges and Bill Shaw partnered with the firm. The business began in a house along Route 52 in Amboy but within a year, it had moved into a small office in town. E & Bs Sales grew with its expanding territory in Illinois and it began to do business as the Illinois Fire Store. IFS remodeled the old Dickinsons Hardware Store at 243 E. Main Street in downtown Amboy and then moved its headquarters there. Dinges Fire Company now calls this office its Global Headquarters.
