Here at Disop, we have been developing formulas and manufacturing eye care and contact lenses care products for many years. Our journey began in the 1970s when the companys founder, Javier Chamorro Tormo, travelled to England to learn about an invention that at the time seemed a thing of science fiction. This groundbreaking concept was a special lens that could be placed inside the eye to improve the wearers eyesight what we now know as contact lenses. Javier came back to Spain thrilled by this revolutionary idea and set out to visit optician after optician explaining the advantages it would bring and its potential to improve millions of lives. In the early years, the liquid required to keep those lenses in good condition had to be imported from abroad, making it costly and difficult to come by.
