DCI began business in 2000 as Promina Health Systems Distribution Center, and then transitioned to a stand-alone, non-profit entity in April 2005. The primary function of DCI is to provide warehousing, inventory, and delivery functions to its member patrons. The operational aspects of DCI include 24/7 on-demand, and 7 days per week scheduled medical-surgical primary distribution services to its member patrons.
