This unique facility wasnt based on the traditional post-acute care business model. Instead, it was conceived around the needs of children, specifically what they need in order to grow and flourish, to develop and be happy. Because here, were helping to raise a group of children, and that came first. Only then did we deal with what additions would be needed if all of those children were dealing with very complex medical and pulmonary conditions. So, we arent just a childrens nursing facility, or a certified ventilator unit with some special features added, or a cerebral care unit. Were a home, with some very special adaptations for our very special family. Ditmas Childrens provides complete medical and social care, unique to each child.
