Divan International

Divan International was founded in 1992 by Mr. Kamal Wajih Hijazi, one of Jordans first exchange students in 1967. Kamal was part of a high school exchange program where he spent one year in Kenosha, Wisconsin in the United States. After his year of high school abroad, Kamal returned to Jordan and later returned to the United Stated to study at the University of San Jose in California where he completed his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering. Kamals experiences as an exchange student at both the high school and university levels inspired him to start a company in the Middle East that would provide young Arab students with the same opportunity to experience the cultural exchange and learning experiences that had changed his life.
