Founded at the end of World War Two, Divel Italial started its activity producing glass lenses. In the mid seventies, after acquiring from the United States the know how for the production of organic material CR39 lenses, it became one of the firts European companies to produce this type of lenses. During the eighties, following a major restructuring, the company was divided into three sections: one producing glass lenses, another producing organic lenses and a third section dedicated to both products sale and marketing.
