Divine Academy Special Needs School

Divine Academy is a private school in Pembroke Pines, FL for children with special needs. Divine Academy was founded in 2005 by Ingrid Garcia and Pamela Vogelsang both with Special Education degrees and a combined total of 25 years experience at the time that they opened the school. They decided at that time to open the program as there was and still is a desperate need in the community for private schools that cater to students with special needs. They made it their lifes mission to provide a program where each student is given the opportunity to grow and thrive. Currently Divine Academy serves over 50 students and due to increasing enrollment, continues to expand. The central purpose and role of Divine Academy is to provide students with special needs the means and knowledge for independent living and to enter the workforce through educational, vocational, and life skills instruction in a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.
