Information and Library Studies are offered at the Faculty of Arts (Masaryk University), in three programs of studies: three-year Bachelors and two-year Masters degree programs and life-long education in full-time as well as combined forms. The studies are designed as transdisciplinary in connection with the Faculty of Informatics and the Faculty of Social Sciences, MU. Thus, interdisciplinarity is provided for the field of studies which embraces aspects of humanities as well as natural sciences. Versatility and skills in the use of modern technologies offer to our graduates numerous possibilities of employment in non-commercial and commercial sectors
