DKMullin Architects approaches each design problem with the belief that even the most mundane and basic problem offers creative and sustainable solutions, regardless of the projects social or economic backdrop. DKMullin Architects began as a sole proprietorship in San Francisco, CA in 1996. The office moved to its present location in Moscow, ID in 1998 in order to supplement Daniels new position teaching at the University of Idaho. Although Daniel is not engaged in teaching at this time, the proximity to university life, continued education, and access to young talent has been an invaluable asset to the office. Since 1998 the office has ventured out towards various building typologies and has garnered several institutional projects including the Moscow Charter School and the St. Marys Catholic School Expansion.
