Making games we love; with people we love; for people to love. From day 1 this has been the number one rule at Dlala, and whilst things have changed since the days in the garage that one rule has remained true. We take the work we create very seriously, however that doesnt mean we have to take ourselves too seriously. Dlala Studios was founded in 2012 by two friends who had previously worked as programmers together at Jagex and Bossa Studios. Within the first 6 months of forming the studio, we released a Windows 8 launch title, were featured on the front cover of Develop Magazine (Two Guys, One Game, No Cash) and moved into Microsoft Games Studios Soho office to be their first ever internally incubated studio. Over the next 5 years the team grew from 2 guys in a garage to 16 wonderful people in a studio in Essex, with regular collaborators across the globe.
