. . 2014 . . . 4 / 2015 148 903 . 2016-2017 1380 . 350 400 . The Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI) is an independent institute for learning and research based in Qatar. It was established by the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies in 2014. The DI offers masters programs through two schools: School of Social Sciences and Humanities and School of Public Administration and Development Economics, as well as, the Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies. The first academic year started in Fall 2015 with 148 students offered admission out of 903 applicants. For the current academic year, the DI received 1380 applications out of which 233 were accepted. The total number of students at the DI is expected to range between 350-400 in the next few years and doctoral programs will be launched soon.
