DOK Leipzig is the oldest festival for documentary and animation film in the world and unique in offering this combination. It is guided by the values of diversity, human dignity, inclusion and peace. The festival presents about 200 artistically outstanding, socially relevant films, XR experiences and provides space for dialogue and debate. The extended reality exhibition DOK Neuland enriches the film programme with a range of immersive works. Each year this creates a world where visitors can experience profound stories in unexpected virtual spaces.
