Doko Recyclers was born out of a desire to manage the tall garbage heaps and overflowing landfills of Kathmandu. A social venture that aims to solve Nepals ever growing waste problem by streamlining the informal recycling industry. Our unique model for collection (from households, institutional/organizational clients, and existing Kabaadi-walas), modern and hygienic segregation and aggregation, impact evaluation (conducting annual green audits) and high standards (ethical labor practices and fair prices) benefits everyone in the value chain while keeping Kathmandu clean and livable
