Domaine du Castel is a family owned winery in the Judean Hills, near Jerusalem. Eli Ben-Zaken, Owner and Winemaker, very much influenced by French tradition, planted the first vineyards in 1988 and began producing quality wines. The vineyards are planted at a high density and the yields are small. The grapes are handpicked and great care is taken to make the most out of the terroir.
