In a world where social connections -- so vital to the health and well-being of older adults -- are often difficult to come by, DOROT brings the generations together to form meaningful friendships through programs and services that benefit everyone. We are always looking for passionate and committed non-profit social work, program, and other professionals interested in working with older adults to join our team in a variety of positions. Based in New York City, DOROT has been a leading provider of social services to older adults for 45 years. To achieve its mission of alleviating social isolation among older adults, DOROTs staff and trained volunteers ensure that older adults throughout Manhattan and Westchester are socially connected, engaged and aging well in their own homes.
