Dreams Take Flight National

Dreams Take Flight is a Canadian national 100% volunteer run, non-profit charity that provides the trip of a lifetime to mentally, physically, socially or emotionally challenged children to Walt Disney World. Our goal is to help them forget their troubles for one incredible day where they will experience wonder, friendship, and magic in the happiest place on earth. Dreams Take Flight took wing in 1989, when a group of Air Canada employees in Toronto organized a trip that took 70 special needs children on board a DC-9 aircraft to Walt Disney World in Florida. Today the charity has expanded to service eight cities across Canada; Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax (servicing the Atlantic region).
