DSME Trenton (Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering)

In March 2010, Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME), one of the worlds largest ship builders and a global leader in offshore heavy engineering with over 1500 design and R&D personnel and 30,000 skilled workers, announced its decision to establish a wind tower and blade manufacturing facility at the former TrentonWorks site (previously a major railcar manufacturing facility). DSTN is the result of that decision. DSTN is a state-of-the-art wind tower and blade manufacturing facility with very large steel fabrication equipment capable of manufacturing for a number of different industries from oil and gas, to shipbuilding, and everything in between.
