Our communitys foundation was formed in the late 1970s when the DuBois Nursing Home opened its doors as a not-for-profit organization chartered to meet the regions need for long-term care. In 1996, the nursing homes board of directors created DuBois Villagea personal care communityas an independent organization located on the same 13-acre campus. In 2000 and 2001, the nursing home added Memory Lane, a secure Alzheimers/Dementia area, and Village View independent living apartments, respectively.
