Duct & Vent Cleaning of America, Inc. was founded in April of 1989 by Ron Eckman, and was soon joined full time by his cousin Michael Vinick in West Springfield, MA. The company began as a result of Ron recognizing the importance of duct cleaning and that it was an important emerging market. Very soon, Ron turned over control of the company to Michael who has been running the company ever since. As early as February of 1990, Duct & Vent Cleaning of America, Inc. joined NADCA, the HVAC Inspection, Maintenance and Restoration Association. In fact, we were the first company to be allowed membership that used portable hepa vacuums in the cleaning process. Today there are many methods to clean ductwork and each job needs to be handled differently in the approach to achieving the desired results.
