Dunn Loring Volunteer Fire Department

Founded in 1942, the Dunn Loring Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department provides frontline emergency services to the community of Dunn Loring and the greater Tysons Corner area of Northern Virginia. Running in excess of 6,500 emergency calls per year, the volunteers in combination with the career firefighters of Fairfax County Fire and Rescue, work to meet the ever-increasing demand for services. The 75 volunteers of the Dunn Loring Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department and Ladies Auxiliary provided over 17,500 hours of uncompensated service annually.
