DV Wests vision is for a society free of violence against women and children; a society where women and children are safe in their homes and in their communities and have the support and resources they need to live active and fulfilling lives. We provide supported crisis accommodation, transitional housing, an After Hours service and outreach support for women and children in the Nepean, Blue Mountains, Blacktown/Hills, and Hawkesbury districts. Our services are provided by women, for women and children. We operate within a feminist framework and acknowledge that domestic violence is predominately gender-based. Our practice is evidence based and informed by 40 years of working with womens lived experiences. We are an inclusive organisation for all woman-identifying people.
