Self-driving car is a Holy Grail of modern car industry. Along with camera and Radar, Lidar is an invaluable imaging tool which plays an important role in integrated intelligent systems for highly automated vehicles. Ensuring correct functioning of the sensors as well as testing developed software is of great importance due to high safety standards of the industry. Our unique product (SimLas) can efficiently and reproducibly simulate arbitrary environment for automotive scanning Lidars. This enables engineers to test and calibrate the Lidars in fully deterministic conditions in the Lab during the development phase. Due to its high stability and reliability SimLas can also be used to optimize the autocalibration strategies in dynamical environment.
