Earthen Vessels, Inc

Earthen Vessels, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Massachusetts corporation founded by Brian and Marie-Claude Thompson in 1980. It is included in the prestigious Catalog of Philanthropy and on Guidestar. The mission of Earthen Vessels is to transform lives by fostering service, community and spirit. We engage at-risk youth and university students in mutually enriching relationships through long-term mentoring, academic support and a life-changing camp experience. Our goal is to create a more just, tolerant and empathetic world. This mission is accomplished through two complementary programs: an intense experience of community life at our Summer Camp in Vermont, and a school-year Tutoring and Mentoring Program which matches youngsters one-on-one with Harvard students in long-term supportive relationships which are equally enriching for both sides of the equation. In recent years, 80-100% of our graduates have gone on to college
