East Africa Glassware Mart Ltd. (EAGM)

Established in 1951 in Mombasa Kenya, East Africa Glassware Mart, popularly known as EAGM, is a privately owned family business currently being headed by the third generation of the Chandi family. Being a 70 year old company, EAGM has grown from a small traditional duka shop in Old Town Mombasa, into a fully fledged corporate hub. It carries out wide distribution within Kenya and successfully expanded into Uganda & Tanzania. These prime locations allowed the company to cater to any customer requirement across the East African region. The company started with just 4 employees and is now enrolled with over 200 members of staff. EAGM started the business with recycling chipped glass bottles and transforming them into classy drinking glasses. With this observed evolving opportunity in the market, a deep-rooted partnership with Arc International from France began. This has been long-standing till date!
