East African Community Services (EACS) is dedicated to improving the well-being and quality of life for East African youth and their families in Seattle. We provide tools to adjust to life in the United States, preserve diverse cultural heritages, and participate in broad and integrated community life. Our comprehensive organizational model engages and serves our entire community but primarily focuses on the needs of East African youthwho are our present treasure and future hope. Community Engagement programs provide support for parents and new immigrants, while our Youth Education Program offers dedicated programs for students in grades K-5 and 6-12
