East Boro Housing Trust

Established in Wimborne in 1960, East Boro specialises in housing and support services for the sheltered elderly, adults with learning disabilities and other vulnerable client groups in social housing need. It provides and manages 370 properties with more than 400 tenants and delivers care and support to over 550 customers on a daily basis across Dorset. In 2013 alone, East Boro delivered more than 97,000 hours of care. In recent years East Boro has expanded its services beyond its core tenant base to people living in their own homes in the wider local community. This they have done through highly successful initiatives such as Handy Van Service, Home from Home Day Respite Care Service and Always Help At Hand Service.
