At ECMCS, we believe that todays educators deserve an environment that is complete with all of the tools and professional development necessary to reach students. We know that a dedicated faculty is one that seeks to grow their skills among a supportive team. Providing an excellent workplace for our staff is as important as providing an excellent educational setting for our students. Established in 2003, East Cooper Montessori Charter School is a premier public Montessori school in both Charleston County, as well as South Carolina. ECMCS serves 420 students ages 3 years old - 8th grade. We enjoy a facility of almost 60,000 square feet complete with a STEM lab, performing arts program, stage, art studio, kiln, two playgrounds, basketball court, baseball field, and two technology labs all encompassed on a 9-acre property.
