East Durham Business Service (EDBS) is the Enterprise Agency for the District of Easington. Part of the National Federation of Enterprise Agencies (NFEA) it offers small and medium sized businesses and those wishing to start their own business the support needed. Based at Novus Business Centre, in the heart of the business community of Peterlee, EDBS has specialists in business advice, economic development and grant administration. Established in 2003, EDBS has developed into a highly skilled and professional organisation providing advice on business planning, marketing, retail, business growth and funding as well as Apprenticeships East Durham. EDBS has two core functions, Business Support and Economic Development. Business Support The Business Support team offer independent advice to businesses on a range of topics including Start up, marketing, retail, commercial property and growth and expansion.
