East Hanover Board of Education

The East Hanover Township Public School district is an active learning community in which three schools provide comprehensive programs to prepare students to meet and/or exceed the requirements set forth by the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards. The East Hanover School District continued its progress toward a comprehensive balanced literacy program. This initiative supports our goal to responsibly differentiate instructional methodology by employing varied instructional approaches, using carefully selected and leveled reading materials, and otherwise identifying and meeting the learning needs of our students. All staff members participated in training opportunities of varying types, some of which were in-district, others were out of district, and many supported our initiatives in developing our balanced literacy program.
