East Wimmera Health Service provides care to a population of greater than 10,000 people who reside in the townships and districts of Birchip, Charlton, Donald, St Arnaud and Wycheproof. Acute Services: East Wimmera Health Service, offer a range of Acute services across each the five sites, each community supports a local doctor, who is the cornerstone for providing ongoing care to the community. East Wimmera Health Service provides a 24-hour urgent care at each of its five campuses, providing resuscitation and limited stabilisation prior to transfer of the patient to a larger hospital.
