EASTERN Exchange Company WLL has been a pioneer in providing Foreign Exchange Services in Qatar for over three decades. The company was initially established with the name Eastern Banking and Financial Organisation by the great visionary Sri. Abdul Rahman M M Al-Muftah as proprietorship firm in 1979 for doing currency exchange business in Qatar. Later on the name was changed as Eastern Exchange Establishment in 1997 and from 2015, the exchange has assumed the status of Limited Liability Company. Initially the exchange house was doing money exchange business. International operation started during November 1979 with remittance arrangement to Bangladesh. Indian operation started during 1980. Operational area further expanded to neighbouring Asian countries during 1981.
