Eastern Shore Area Health Education Center (ESAHEC), a private, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, which became operational in 1997. Governed by a Board of Directors, ESAHEC is located in Dorchester County, MD, a federally designated Medically Underserved Community (MUC) and Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) and serves the nine counties comprising Marylands Eastern Shore.
