ECM TRANSPORT, LLC, an asset-based truckload carrier headquartered in New Kensington, PA has been providing truckload service for over 20 years. ECM was founded by Edward Ed Meier, who started the organization in September of 1988. His vision was to create a truckload provider in the marketplace that would offer high-quality, on-time truckload service at a cost-effective price. ECM TRANSPORT is a full service, 10 terminal, truckload network that provides customers with exceptional performance while allowing for flexibility to meet customers needs and demands. This customer-centric philosophy has allowed us to explore new opportunities to provide our customers with high-value transportation services. In 2005, ECM TRANSPORT merged with PITT OHIO EXPRESS, a privately owned less-than-truckload (LTL) carrier, in order to meet the LTL demands of customer base.
